Reconstruction of Waste-to-Energy Facility Kiel

Description:

Main focus of provided planning services for reconstruction of the waste-to-energy facility Kiel was the stepwise extension of the processing lines while maintaining parts of the incineration capacity regarding disposal security for the region. Parallel to existing flue gas cleaning device a completely new facility was implementet. The new system now corresponds with the actual legal demands in Germany. The boiler system was reconstructed per line and integrated in the incineration process


In addition an extended resource recovery system was implemented for recycling of hydrochloric acid as well as calcium sulphate from wash water of flue gas cleaning.
