Waste-to-Energy Plant Pirmasens

Scope of Work:

    Functional units: pre-treatment, firing, boiler, water-steam-circuit ,electrical techniques and process control

  • Planning phasis acc. to German regulations

  • Check of construction planning
  • Negociations with bidders
  • Support during realization phase

Description:

The necessary planning tasks were done in co-operation with the German engineering office IGA Stuttgart. BE was responsible for the above named functional units. As a peculiarity a sewage sludge drying facility was integrated in the Waste-to-Energy Facility Pirmasens by BE.

Within the bounds of the planning activities a reduction of the treatment capacity from 3 to 2 treatment lines were proceeded. Since 1999 the Waste-to-Energy Facility Pirmasens is operated by the company SOTEC, which as well is a client of BE.
